Germans buy healthier than 5 years ago
A big part of today`s shoppers pays more attention to health value and ingredients of groceries. This shows a recent survey by Forschungsgruppe g/d/p. Women buy consciously more often than men. The interest in special diets such as vegan or lactose free has especially grown in shoppers above the age of 49. When evaluating the health value of single products many of the interviewees saw advantages in whole meal products as well as vegetarian alternatives to meat.
